What should you do if you are experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19?

Do not go directly to your doctor’s office, hospital emergency department or urgent care without calling them or the DOH first, to get instructions.
According to the CDC, symptoms consistent with COVID-19 include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. Emergency warning signs include difficulty breathing, persistent pain or pressure in the chest, new confusion or an inability to arouse, bluish lips or face. In the case of emergency warning signs, call 911 immediately.
Stay home if you are experiencing mild symptoms. You should restrict activities outside of your home, except for getting necessary medical care. Additionally, pay attention to federal, state and local guidelines and restrictions for gathering.
