There is no need to panic and you should continue to go about your lives in a normal fashion but, whenever possible, limit the amount of activities associated with public gatherings.
While the Office of Emergency Management does not recommend business cease operations, we do recommend that social gatherings and church services be postponed. We ask that the churches in the city use the service on Sunday, March 15th to convey the attached information.
Also on the city website is this single statement:
Chester City Hall will be closed to the general public on Monday— March 16, 2020.

Thank You for all of the information you’ve provided for the community and citizens of Chester. It saddens me to no end that the city officials are far less concerned about anything of importance concerning this city. I am not sure of Livia Smith’s qualifications, but I do know she has been a flunking of our ILLUSTRIOUS Mayor for well over 20 years, so such an important position is only befitting for someone so loyal.
